Curated vibes paired with high fidelity sound
Why settle for a playlist or a laptop zombie like the rest? You’re way too unique and classy for that!
We pull from over 3,000 vinyl records collected from 25 years of record digging around the globe. Careful consideration for your audience, event, space and brand is at the forefront of what gets hand selected.
Our own sound system is brought to you that is as visually striking as it is acoustically. For some of your clients or friends it will be a mix of nostalgia as well as novelty. Pair this with a DJ behind the deck that is active reading the room, digging through the crates, prepping each record, setting up the mix, manipulating wax and you have an experience that is much more than a playlist.
Who We Are
Brock Stepan, aka DJ B-Rock, has been DJing in the Twin Cities for over 20 years and collecting records for even longer. His record collection became the media entry point to the world of hifi about 15 years ago. After the initial experience of just how good music can sound via vinyl on quality equipment he became obsessed with chasing the best sound as much as digging for new music.
HiFi Funk was created in 2023 to bring people together through music shared in the best format and sound possible. Brock continues to dig for records around the world as he explores new cities with his wife every year. He can usually be found in his own kissa, a large garage stall turned listening lounge, exploring his collection and always tinkering with gear to bring the music to life.
